Tips for rainy days!
After rain comes sunshine, but even when it rains you can have a great time in Zeeland! There is something for everyone, from young to old you can have a day out and have fun with the whole family. Of course, we make it easy for you and share our "rainy" tips with you here:
Cultural, culinary & more
- Visit the city of Middelburg, where you can enjoy shopping as well as culture. Visit the Oostkerk, Zeeuws Museum and Stadsbrouwerij Middelburg. Afterwards, of course, you will be in the mood for an aperitif! On Plein 1940 in Middelburg, you will find Vini Wine Bar, highly recommended!
- In Goes, there is plenty to experience too! Visit Historic Museum De Bevelanden, take a ride on the steam train Goes-Borsele, but above all enjoy the many delicious restaurants the city has to offer. We are especially fans of Restaurant de Brass, Restaurant Codium and Restaurant Kale & de Bril.
- Of course, it is also possible to read a cultural book 😉 and then treat yourself to a delicious star dinner at Restaurant Meliefste.
- Unwind at the wellness in Goes or the Kamperduinen in Kamperland. Those who like more privacy can also rent a private wellness at Pura Vida, also check out the extra treatments.
For the little splashes
- Go play together at Mini Mundi's indoor playground.
- Challenge each other with a game of Glowgolf.
- Have a nice lunch or high tea at Het Kaslokaal in Oostkapelle.
- Teach your children all about water and the Delta Works of Zeeland at Neeltje Jans.
- Visit the goat farm of De Mekkerstee and meet all the farm animals.
- Monkey town is a paradise for your children to play and you as a supervisor can enter for free!
- Port Zélande swimming pool for an actual splashing experience.
