Burgh-Haamstede

If you come to spend the night in Burgh-Haamstede, we will be happy to tell you all about the village. As locals, we have already listed some tips for you.

Burgh Haamstede is a lovely place to stay for a longer period of time. The village is located in a wooded area, close to the vast beach of Westerschouwen. Discover De Boswachterij Westerschouwen, the Meeuwenduinen, the Verklikkerduinen, the Vroonronden and the beach of Westerschouwen. Together, these areas form the Kop van Schouwen nature reserve, where you can enjoy cycling, walking and recreation.

Burgh-Haamstede itself is a small village, with several restaurants, supermarkets and cosy terraces. The village is a great starting point to the surrounding beaches, other villages on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland or the historic Delta Works.
